£10 Givenchy Dupe!

Posted by emilyhannah at 8/03/2013 04:04:00 pm 1 comments
I have always admired the Givenchy bags, however from a distance as I am only a student and never in my wildest dreams would I ever be able to afford something as beautiful as that - or so I thought.

This, believe it or not, was only a measly £10, from Primark (who have greatly raised the quality of their bags, evidently).

It holds all the necessities and more, along with a zip pocket for added security and secrecy. Also a shoulder strap for other ways to hold. It's well-made, and I think, looks very sleek and classy.

So, in a way my wishes came true.

Lush Haul & Review

Ultrabland Facial Cleanser - I was worried when I was applying it onto my skin at how oily it was, to be honest it feels horrible, really greasy. But as you take it off you can really tell the difference. No trace of makeup and my skin feels so much fresher and smooth - I have really dry skin and it appears to have helped with that. I've noticed my skin has less breakouts since using this product, which is something the tub says. It's made out of beeswax which is 'the best makeup remover' so its natural, not containing any harsh chemicals.

Whoosh Shower Jelly (love the play on words) - I loved the smell of this, which was described as lemon, lime and rosemary. I was hoping the smell would linger on my skin more, but I was left feeling fresh which was enough for me. The concept I thought was pretty cool, it being jelly, but the practicalities not great as it's a bugger if you drop it (which I can guarantee you will), as there's no chance you'll be able to pick it up again. Until I found out you were supposed to press it into your bath sponge (oops), after discovering that, it was a lot easier to shower with. Haha.

Satsumo Santa Bath Bomb - Smells lovely, however it was to summery and sweet for my liking, I was hoping for a spicy, Christmassy smell, anything that would have got me in the Christmas mood, but disappointingly it didn't. But to be fair, the smell is amazing. My bath turned orange which I thought was pretty cool.

An Introduction

Posted by emilyhannah at 7/25/2013 01:36:00 pm 0 comments
Recently I've been venturing out into doing new things, maybe, in the past I have wanted to do, but never had the guts to. So this is one of them. Setting up my own beauty and fashion blog. This is the new me. The new me that is trying to become more confident and move more out of my little bubble, my comfort zone. This is something I want to do in life and continue as a career, so I need any exposure I can get.

As I'm new there's an introduction in order: I'm Emily, a 15 year old British girl who has a large interest in the fashion industry and photography.

So welcome to my new blog, I hope you'll stick around to see my journey and enjoy my posts!
